We start our adventure in El Remate, a small town next to a beautiful lake. We can enjoy the local restaurants, explore the town, and gaze at the beautiful lake. Be sure to go to be early, so you'll be ready for tomorrow's big tour of Tikal.

We will arrive in Tikal in the early morning.  Our guide will conduct us through the jungle as we observe the ancient Mayan temples and learn about the fascinating history of this very special place. Along the way, there will be lots of monkeys and other wildlife to observe. You will have time to explore the temples or simply sit and listen to the sounds of the jungle and reflect on what happened here thousands of years ago.
